1. Institutional Commitment to Patient Confidentiality

Aarogya Multi-Speciality Hospital & Research Centre operates under strict clinical ethics and data privacy standards conforming to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act) and the Medical Council of India (MCI) Code of Medical Ethics. We prioritize the security, confidentiality, and integrity of all patient health information (PHI) collected offline and through our online portal.

2. Information We Collect

Through our digital interfaces, we may collect the following details:

  • Identity & Contact Information: Patient name, mobile number, email address, age, and residential district.
  • Consultation Inquiries: Preferred department, doctor requested, appointment date, and brief description of health concerns provided voluntarily.
  • Technical Diagnostics: Standard non-identifying server logs (browser type, IP address, referral source) utilized purely to prevent abuse and improve page response speeds.

3. Purpose of Processing

We process your submitted data exclusively for:

  • Scheduling and verifying outpatient consultations with relevant medical specialists.
  • Communicating clinical schedule updates, pre-procedure fasting guidelines, and diagnostic availability.
  • Fulfilling legal, hospital accreditation (NABH/NABL), and regulatory record-keeping obligations under Maharashtra public health regulations.

4. Zero Third-Party Commercial Selling

We do not sell, rent, license, or barter patient information to third-party pharmaceutical advertisers, marketers, or data brokers under any circumstances. Data is accessible solely to authorized hospital medical staff and clinical reception personnel bound by strict confidentiality covenants.

5. Medical Records Retention & Security

Physical and electronic health records are maintained behind enterprise firewalls with restricted access controls. Electronic communication forms employ encrypted transit (TLS/HTTPS). Inquiries that do not materialize into hospital registration are purged in accordance with our institutional data retention schedules.
